1. Eligibility

   A. Spring 2015 incoming RC students.

      (except of music college, physical education major and sports/leisure major)

   B. Fall 2014 incoming RC students.

   C. Prospective returning Residential College Students for 1st semester of 2015

    

2. Application Period

   A. Regular Admission : 2015. 2. 4.(Wed) 13:00 ~ 2. 10.(Tue) 16:00

   B. Extra Admission : 2015. 2. 13.(Fri) 13:00 ~ 2. 14(Sat) 16:00

    

3. Application Process

   A. Apply for housing online by logging onto http://yicdorm.yonsei.ac.kr

   B. No more documents are required.

   C. Please use the "Internet Explorer" only for this application.

   A. Number of room types (3BR/2BR) is limited. In this case, the room types are assigned randomly.

   B. The deposit(100,000 won) will be refunded en bloc after the end of the 1st semester.

   C. Freshmen of Medicine and Integrated Information Technology, please pay for only deposit (Need to pay an additional fee for 2BR).

   D. Facilities deposit is returned to the account you entered when applying. Please enter your account number exactly.

   E. Meal costs is not included in housing fee. Please purchase it personally at the restaurant after the move-in. (The Meal Coupon Price : 2,800 ~ 4,000 won)

 

5. Housing Fees Period

   A. Regular Admission : 2015. 2. 5.(Thu) 09:00 ~ 2. 17.(Tue) 24:00

   B. Extra Admission : 2015. 2. 13.(Fri) 09:00 ~ 2. 17.(Tue) 24:00

     ¡Ø Housing fee must be paid within a designated period(if it’s unpaid, move-in will be delayed or you will be forced to leave).

    

6. Housing residence period(1st semester) : 2015. 2. 27.(Fri) ~ 2015. 6. 20.(Sat) 12:00

    

7. Health Inspection

   A. All the students who will move in Songdo Dormitory must submit medical certificates of “Chest X-ray” & “MMR Vaccination”.

      (1) Chest X-ray Certificate 

          ¨ç Submit the certificate after the examination for the chest X-ray in a hospital or public health center.

          ¨è The term of validity of this certificate is 2 months from the date of issue.

      (2) MMR(Measles, Mumps & Rubella) Vaccination Certificate

   B. If these certificates are not submitted or the result of those examination indicates impossibility of your cohabitation, the whole housing application will be canceled.

   C. Submission Progress of Certificate : direct submission at each lobby on the move-in day.

   D. Please contact 032-749-2118/9 or visit YIC Health Center which is located at Vision Hall #311 to inform your personal medical issues including the individual state of taking medicine for health, safety and prompt action in case of emergency.

    

8. Move-In Procedure

   A. House and room is random allocation. (Please note that room change requests are not accepted.)

   B. Confirm the House and room

       (1) Check on the website(http://yicdorm.yonsei.ac.kr) : 2015. 2. 25.(Wed) 13:00

   C. Move-In Date & Time : 2015. 2. 27.(Fri) 09:00 ~ 2. 28.(Sat) 18:00

   D. Submit your medical certificate at dorm admin office, move in to your room after receiving “Check-In List for facility”

   E. Besides designated hours, please move-in through main security office (Dorm1: Bld. A / Dorm2: Bld. D) to get the formalities of these Move-in procedure properly.

   F. What To Bring :

      (1) Social identification card or Driver’s license for ID check up

      (2) Personal belongings (mattress sheet for single bed(1,000*2,000), comforter, pillow, toiletries, hangers, slippers and etc)

      (3) Since dormitory is a place for cohabitation, please make sure to keep your belongings on a proper level.

   G. Internal Facilities : desk & chair, wardrobes(3BR: 280*2,100, 2BR: 600*2,100), shoe closet, single bed & mattress, air conditioning & heating system, 1 shower room, 1 bathroom.

   H. Desk, bed, closet are used through consultations between the roommates.

  I. Electronic heating devices such as rice cooker, coffee machine, refrigerator, irons, electric pad, electric sitting mat or blanket must not be used in the dormitory room.

  J. No pets allowed.

   K. Address for the Delivery : Name, Major, House, Room #, Bld. #, Songdo dormitory, Yonsei International Campus, Songdo Gwahakro 85, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, 406-840. (all the parcel should be signed received in person at each lobby)

    

9. Required Documents for Handicapped Accessible Rooms

  ❚All students applying for handicapped accessible rooms must submit the following documents

  A. Deadline : 2015. 2. 9 (Mon) 17:00

  B. Handicapped Accessible Room applicants must submit documentation for applicant’s disabilities.

  C. Submit all to Mail, e-mail, fax or visit

      (1) Address : General Admin Office (Vision Hall #409 Yonsei International Campus, 85 Songdogwahak-ro, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon 406-840, Korea.)

      (2) E-mail address / FAX : residence@yonsei.ac.kr / 032-749-2069

  D. Note for the submission

      (1) Submitted documents is valid only if it’s an original documents which was issued within 3 months from the move-in date, and should not be submitted by fax.

      (2) There should be no false entry or mentioned as well and if there are any false information in the document, the application might be canceled or caused a disadvantage. 

    

10. Notice

   A. Make all(No blanks) in application page.

   B. When apply for housing, must select scholarship(no more documents are required).

   C. As a resident in the area, Incheon, Korea, can select residence or non-residence.

     (Only students current residence address is Incheon, Korea and must submit a copy of certificate of residence)

   D. Payments are made through the virtual bank account which will be given to individuals.

     (Fees must be paid on or before their respective deadlines. If not, Check-in can't be admitted.)

   E. Transfer money to your virtual bank account electronically from a Financial Institution (Woori Bank) Payments by credit card are not allowed.

   F. Late payments are not allowed.

   G. Refund following cancellation of enrollment : Please contact General Admin Office (Vision Hall #409) at 032)749-2057 until Feb 23, 2015 (17:00). when canceling, refund application and a copy of bankbook must be submitted. Request for the Full Refund must be made before Feb 23, 2015 (17:00).

   H. Reason of mid-departure (Refund Application, Copy of Bankbook).

      (1) For military service and dropout.

      (2) Disease (Only hospitalization, submitting a medical certificate)

      (3) Refund of mid-departure is repaid after deducted 30% of fees and calculated extra

          management fees.

   I. No refund is made after May 15, 2015.

   J. As for the leave of absence or dropout during the semester, cannot use dormitory in the remaining period (Move-out is supposed to be progressed with applying a leave of absence or dropout at the same time)
